Consultation

Focused, thoughtful support for complex practice, workforce and organisational challenges — bringing together people, systems, evidence and what is happening on the ground.

Organisations and practice teams are being asked to respond to increasingly complex environments — changing expectations, workforce pressure, psychosocial risk, critical incidents, cultural and community needs, and the ongoing challenge of translating policy, evidence and standards into meaningful practice.

Often, the issue in front of us is only one part of a much larger picture. My consultation work looks across people, practice and systems — helping individuals, teams and organisations understand what is happening, identify patterns and pressure points, and develop responses that are practical, ethical and sustainable.

A particular strength of my work is at the interface between policy and practice. I can move between what practitioners and clinicians are experiencing on the ground and the broader organisational questions of leadership, systems, governance, workforce capability and implementation.

Consultation may include:

  • supervision and reflective practice frameworks
  • workforce wellbeing, psychosocial safety and sustainability
  • supervision capability and development of supervisors
  • leadership, team culture and complex practice
  • critical incident response, recovery and organisational learning
  • policy-to-practice translation and implementation
  • service, framework and practice development
  • trauma-informed and culturally responsive approaches
  • workforce development, training and implementation resources
  • complex organisational and systems issues

The aim is not simply to produce another framework or recommendation, but to develop approaches that can be understood, used and sustained in the realities of practice.

Consultation can range from a focused advisory session through to short-term project, framework development, facilitation or ongoing advisory work.

If this work resonates with you, reach out and we can make a time to connect and explore whether working together feels like a good fit.
